On average, the temperatures in Gili Islands are always high. A lot of rain (rainy season) falls in the month: January, February, March, November and December. The warmest month is October and the coldest month is July. January is the wettest month; this month should be avoided if you are not a big fan of rain. August is the driest month

Gili Islands are located very near to the equator, therefore its warm, tropical climate makes it a huge draw for tourists. Average year-round temperature stands at around 26-27°C with a humidity level of about 85-90%. Water temperatures are always pleasant. The two seasons, rainy and dry season, are not clear cut and not so fully predictable. Christmas and New Year is clearly the high / peak season in Gili Islands although it is technically “rainy season”.
