Nusa Penida is the largest Bali sister island located just off the south-east of Sanur. You can reach this hidden paradise within only an hour speedboat ride. Penida is dry and surrounded with magnifique cliffs overlooking the blue ocean. It is sweltering during the day and cold at night. The rainfall is deficient, and the sun always shines bright almost throughout the year. The wind and beaches are mostly wild, and the water in your hotel can be a bit salty. However, this place is heaven with many secret beaches and viewpoints, but only if you’re a true adventurer.
Bali’s is located very near to the equator; therefore, its warm, tropical climate makes it a huge draw for tourists. Average year-round temperature stands at around 26-27°C with a humidity level of about 85-90%. Water temperatures are always pleasant. The two seasons, rainy and dry season, are not clear cut and entirely predictable. Christmas and New Year is high / peak season in Bali although it is technically “rainy season”.
